That e-mail wasn't from DDI it was from the D&D community.
I don't think Wizards will care enough to look at our combos.
I tried to cancel my subscription but Wizards ass backwards site gives me a server error everytime I try (UPDATE: This has been happening since at least Tuesday. Well I guess it was because I wasn't using Internet Explorer. That doesn't leave me much confidence in there ability to program web apps if I can't even cancel my account without being in a certain browser). There's no reason for me to subscribe anymore I already have the last update (UPDATE: Nope servers are fucking down!). I didn't get the update I wanted (Dark Sun) and could care less about Essentials (but something tells me I'll have to care anyway if it's going to be in the new character builder).
My problems with the new character builder:
- If you don't keep paying your subscription, after 12 months you lose your character.
- You won't be able to export your character. This means you'll have to be online to print it or view it. They say they're working on this feature and it will be released in a future update, but well they have a shitty track record of doing that.
- No house-rules? They don't explain what it means, and they promise it will be in there later.
- The cloud. Companies like Google and Square Space do well with clouds… you know cloud companies.
Blech. Really I shouldn't be bitching much, WotC already turned me off with Essentials. This isn't really worse than that. Ah well.
